February 2nd
Also, in the pagan community February 2nd is referred to as Imbolc. A time for new beginnings. It's a time to let go of the pain of the past and start fresh with the rebirth of spring. It's also a time of divination, so flip out those tarot cards and see what this year may bring you.
Merry Imbolc to all those who celebrate it. May good blessings befall upon you and yours.

THE NEW THREAT
We've all heard about. Nostradamus even predicted it's uprising many centuries ago. It will single handily be cause of the downfall of mankind. It's worse the then atom bomb....It's even worse then horned guy carrying the pitchfork. You know what I'm talking about...it's name...EDISON!!!!! I say this as the people start pouring out of every office building screaming out "Why God? Why must they bring this awful plague upon us?".
This is part one of my story:
It's been 3 weeks since my department went live with Edison and let me tell you my friends that it has been a complete nightmare. My manager, who is a GREAT guy by the way, is even getting frustrated because I am so focused on this system that all my other duties are falling behind.
The whole idea of having this new system, from what I understand, is it's supposed to be more efficient and paperless, but all I can see is invoice are stacking up because the system will not accept them (for what ever reason) and twice as much paper is being generated now then before, so where is the savings? I don't see it. I just don't understand. I'm beginning to think this all an evil plot just to bring down the American people.
To close I just want to say that as of right now I am not impressed at all with this new system.
I sure hope it's going to get better, because if it doesn't they may end up having some State Employee's going postal. Morale has already hit an all time low and this is not helping.
I will keep you updated on my trials and tribulations with Edison. I will call these little rants "The Edison Diaries".
